Broil King PCG-10 Professional Portable Nonstick Griddle Review

Broil King PCG-10 Professional Portable Nonstick Griddle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love mine. It's big, so be aware if you have little counter space. I've got five in my family, and this grill is big enough for bacon on one side, pancakes on the other. It's easy to clean. I've had mine over a year, and have had no problems with the finish. Yes, it does have a hot spot on the left side, but I use it to my advantage. I've had some restaurant experience, and our flat tops were almost always at different temps. Something cooking too fast? Move it over! Put those sausages on the right, as it's a little cooler, and they take longer to cook.
I have had one problem: my probe thermostat went. I called the company, they took the date code off the unit (it was a gift from my Amazon wish list!), and sent a new probe out. The warranty was 30 months! Nice.
I say, if you're a heavy duty griddle user like I am, this is the TANK of the griddle world!

Commercial quality, but designed with the home chef in mind, this 1500-watt portable griddle makes it easy to cook up large batches of breakfast favorites when gathering with friends and family. Use it for anything from strips of crispy bacon and sunny-side-up eggs to fluffy pancakes, hash browns, and much more. The griddle's large, 21-by-12-inch, charcoal-grey cooking surface comes with a nonstick surface to help ensure effortless food release, while its removable stainless-steel backsplash keeps food contained and helps prevent messy spatters. Even more, the unit's rear legs flip down to elevate the back of the griddle when cooking foods like bacon, so fat drains away from food for healthier results. Other highlights include adjustable heat up to 425 degrees F, cool-touch stainless-steel handles, a removable grease tray, and an immersible base (with the temperature probe removed) for quick cleanup. The UL-listed portable griddle measures 12-1/2 by 29 by 5-1/2 inches and carries a two-year warranty.

Sanrio KT5245 Hello Kitty Kt5245 Sandwich Maker Review

Sanrio KT5245 Hello Kitty Kt5245 Sandwich Maker
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love Hello Kitty as much as the next person, but this product is just HORRIBLE. I dont understand why they couldnt make this a good panini press. First off, it makes the sandwiches wafer thin, and you cant use bread thats thicker or shaped differently than standard sliced. Secondly, it squeezes all the cheese out,(dont even TRY to add more than one slice btw) where it then cooks into a hard, un-scrapable, disgusting mess on the machine. The vague Hello Kitty head thats stamped onto the bread isnt worth the mess and totally unsatisfying sandwiches. Its going back to Target tomorrow in exchange for the Giada one.

DCS Propane Traditional Grill, Brushed Stainless Steel Review

DCS Propane Traditional Grill, Brushed Stainless Steel
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been using this grill for 3 years now and have been generally satisifed. I have not been satified with previous gas grills for various reasons, but this grill was good enought to get me to put away the carcoal.
I do have several suggested improvements for this grill.
1. The battery operated ignition system has failed twice in 3 years and it is not covered under warentee. The battery replacement is very difficult as you must press a 9v battery up into a closed plastic box. The plastic is flexible so, I feared breaking the plastic if I pushed too hard or not seating the battery correctly if I pushed too softly. A redisn is in order.
2. I am 6'2" and when the hood cover is open, the curved shape forces the heat and smoke directly into my face. I have taken to doing deep knee bends while I work the grill. I thus burn a few extra calories before dinner. Nevertheless, this is my biggest problem with the grill.
3. The grill temperature is relatively even over the entire surface, but there are a few cool spots that I just take into my food placement.
4. The burner sensitivity is not as good as I would like. The searing high temperature is excellent, and I feel no need to purchase one of the units that promote extra hot searing. The grill, does, however go from hot to cool a little too quickly and it would be nice to have a little more burner control.

Weber 2740001 Summit S-470 Grill, Propane, Stainless Steel Review

Weber 2740001 Summit S-470 Grill, Propane, Stainless Steel
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I started off looking at the TEC Infrared grills at around the $4k price range, after a while, I found I could get a similar grill from Fire Magic, for less money, so was about to go that route. I sent an e-mail to the people at Shopper's Choice, and asked some questions about Infrared grills in general. What I found out was very interesting, and kept me from buying the wrong grill.
It turns out, almost all infrared grills are only good for one thing, cooking steaks, and usually rare to medium rare in taste. I do not like my meat still mooing, so that was out of the question. About the only infrared grill that would allow you to cook other foods, and use other doneness levels, would be the TEC. This is because the TEC version can get down to around 300 degrees, where most other infrared grills have a low temp of only about 500-600 degrees. So, if you only like cooking steaks, then an infrared grill is for you. Otherwise, one of the Fire Magic grills would be a good choice, as you can get both infrared and conventional gas burners, but there is still one drawback to that, over this Weber model. That is, that if you need conventional burners for whatever you are cooking, the grill space over the infrared burner is wasted, and cannot be used for anything else.
After much looking around, and reading reviews of Weber grills (including the one already here on this grill), I decided I wanted one of the Summit grills. I decided on the 470 model, because 4 main burners was more than enough for what I wanted to do, and our family isn't huge, so the added space probably wouldn't get used. The reason I picked the higher end 4 burner model, was because I wanted the sear station, to get the effect of the infrared burner, without having to devote an entire burner to it. In my opinion, the lighted knobs are kind of a waste, however, I haven't needed to use them. The grill out light is kind of cool, and I've actually used it a few times now with good results.
I ordered this grill online (not through Amazon), and it arrived on a pallet, within a heavy cardboard box. Almost all of the main unit was already assembled, leaving the wings, and a few other things to install. I think it took me less than an hour to assemble the entire unit, once I got it off the pallet. This grill is heavy, around 300-350lbs, so it is a lot easier if you have a couple people to get it out of the packaging.
I was really impressed with the quality of the parts. All of the burners, flame tamers, and grates are made out of stainless steel, so they should last the life of the grill (which I expect to be 20 years or more). One of the more cool features of this grill, is the smoker box. This is something that did not even come with the higher-end grills, until you stepped up to the $6k or more grills. The smoker box is all stainless steel, and has its own burner on the very right side of the grill. It takes up little grilling space, which is nice. I've used it several times, and it seems to work pretty well. Controlling the amount of smoke is as easy as turning a knob.
On to the cooking. This grill is fantastic at cooking. You get those perfect sear marks on everything you cook, and the flavor is outstanding. One thing I would point out here, is if you think you really know how to grill, get the cook book by Jamie Purviance, called Weber's Real Grilling (bought here on Amazon for less than $17, 75 reviews at 5 stars), and you will really learn how to grill. It is amazing some of the things I used to do to try and make things taste better, only to learn it was the wrong thing to do. A lot of people I have seen grilling, do it the WRONG way, so I'd highly recommend this book, not only does it teach you the proper technique, it has some fantastic recipes in it (not just meat, either--my wife and I are fans of the Barbecue Chicken Pizzas--yes, on the grill pizza, and the Apple Cake).
The grill is fantastic at everything so far. I have not tried the rotisserie yet, but everything else works really well. The burner lighting system is great, basically like using a flame thrower to light the burner, so you don't have to sit there and keep sparking the igniter all the time (oh, and the igniter is nice, it's built-in to the knob, you don't push another button or anything, just turn the knob to light, and hold it for a second or two, and you're good to go. This grill is capable of getting very HOT. The first time I used it to make a couple steaks, with the sear burner on, I burned all the hair off of my right hand, just opening the grill cover! I did the same thing a few weeks later, until I learned my lesson--get longer grilling tools! The knobs regulate well, and the burners seem to cook evenly.
Overall, I'm really impressed with this grill. I would buy it again, without a second thought. It sure beats the Patio Caddy I had, up until I got this one. This grill does seem to go through the gas a little faster, but then again, it has more than one burner... I ordered the Weber grill cover that goes with this grill last week, because I noticed that even under a covered porch, the grill does get pretty dirty.

Picnic Table Condiment Set Review

Picnic Table Condiment Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Just received this set. It is soooo cute!!! We go camping and this will look really good on our picnic table!!! It is a nice size. The mustard and ketchup are smaller than the pair you see sitting on cafe tables...which is nice when you have limited space in the fridge. The salt and pepper shakers are a larger size. The colors on the website and on the box are the same colors as the actual products; including the picnic table. The weight of this set is enough to hold the table cloth down if it is breezy. Another "must buy" for those of us that like this kind of thing!!!!

Landmann 1508 Hearthmates Black Ash Bucket and Shovel Kit Review

Landmann 1508 Hearthmates Black Ash Bucket and Shovel Kit
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Not a bad product, but the finish could use improvement.
While the can and shovel are heavy/sturdy enough, the black paint applied to both doesn't hold up well to hot coals. When shoveling out the woodstove, the hot coals in the can blistered the paint and actually caused it to burn. The whole house smelled like burned paint and it took some time with a floor fan at the patio door to draw the smoke out of the house.
It might make more sense to have the can and shovel "blued" as they do with firearms, as opposed to painted.

Chefmate 2 Slice Sandwich Maker Grill Nonstick Plates Upright Storage Review

Chefmate 2 Slice Sandwich Maker Grill Nonstick Plates Upright Storage
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My wife and I bought the Chefmate grill from Target for $10.40. First of all, it makes great grilled sandwiches. It takes about five minutes to warm up, then about four minutes or so to make your sandwich. Most of our sandwiches have been grilled nearly to perfection.
Now for the negatives. You have to use fairly small-sized loaf bread to fit on the plates. The correct size bread is easy to find in most supermarkets, so that's not a big problem, but don't expect the Chefmate to work well with big slices of bread. The other negative is that we use the Chefmate mostly for making variations of grilled cheese sandwiches. It melts the cheese just fine, but if any cheese runs out onto the grill (which usually is the case for us), it's a pain to clean afterward. The plate surfaces are nonstick, but you end up using toothpicks to clean out the congealed cheese after the Chefmate cools off. This isn't a huge problem, but it is annoying to know that you're going to spend several minutes cleaning the cheese off. This is the reason that I only gave the Chefmate four stars.
Overall, for about $10, it's a good buy.

Cuisinart multifunctional Griddler Gourmet maker Review

Cuisinart multifunctional Griddler Gourmet maker
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought the griddler in February of 2005 and have taken care to ensure it lasts. The Griddler is heavy and sturdily constructed. It heats up quickly, and cleans up even faster. We have used it for Panini, grilling meat, and toasting burger buns. The griddler comes with interchangeable dishwasher safe griddle and grill plates. The unit can be used as a Panini press or as a griddle.
The base of the unit heats up and maintains temperature better than the top. This creates uneven toasting of the Panini or other items. It's not so much of a problem using as a griddle, since one side will simply cook faster than the other.
After a year the nonstick surface has started pealing off of the grill plates. I have never used metal on the nonstick surface and have taken great care to preserve the finish. Perhaps it is in the design, but the now I will have to take care not to get pieces of the nonstick surface in my food. The plates don't stay attached in the top anymore either. It's very annoying trying to reposition a hot plate into place.
On the surface, the Griddler has the looks and design to be a great product. Cuisinart has some bugs to work out to attain even heating and plates that last. If I were to buy a new Panini press, I would not look to Cuisinart again.
PROS:
Heavy and sturdily construction
Heats up and cleans quickly
CONS:
Non-stick surface does not last
Uneven heating

#400 Burner/Quemador w/ Tripod and Regulator Review

#400 Burner/Quemador w/ Tripod and Regulator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have an 18" paella pan that I have always struggled with on our gas stove top. While I could get our paellas done, it always took a very long time on the stove top, with lots of turning (and finger-burning!). A fair amount of creative language came along with making my paellas - and I was planning on branching out to learn Spanish expletives to make my paella cooking even more "authentic".
Instead, I decided to take a different route to authenticity: I make enough paellas in a year to justify this purchase, and boy, does this burner get the job done! The old adage of having the right tool for the job definitely applies here.
This cooks the paella quickly and evenly, though you have to fool around a bit to balance the two flames optimally on larger pans. It comes with a short (but sufficient length) hose with a propane tank adapter for connecting the burner to your tank.
I am subtracting one star for missing instructions on how to put the legs together and the somewhat cheap metal leg construction / arrangement. The legs work OK, but you may need to bend them a little to get everything to line up. On my burner, I screwed the wingnuts / leg braces into the holes closest to the legs. YMMV.The burner packs up fine in a sturdy yard grass bag when not in use, and taking care not to let the bag rip from sharp edges.

Outset QB52 Small Hot Dog Griller with Rosewood Handle Review

Outset QB52 Small Hot Dog Griller with Rosewood Handle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The problem with grilling hotdogs outdoors on the grill is that the hotdogs either get blackened blisters from being too close to the heat, or they're too hard to turn evenly. The result is a striped hotdog with very well done sections & some barely cooked sections. This gadget allows the hotdogs to rest on/between the metal bars, which get very hot from the heat; the accompanying handle allows the cook to rotate the bars without getting burned. Not as slick as the electric versions one sees at some chain store cafes, but easier on the budget and environment. It's not designed to be used indoors on a very small cooking surface; room is needed to move it. If this caveat is kept in mind, an outdoor cook with guests can expect to have loads of fun. The one down side, as with any product with moving parts, is the cleanup. But unless you're grilling dogs with a lot of fat, such as bratwurst, there is surprisingly little baked on. I gave one to a RV enthusiast who has grandkids; he loved it, so I got one for myself. I believe that the company who makes these are no longer producing them, so one may have to look on eBay for them now.

Aroma AHG-2233 Dual Flip 100-Square-Inch Grill and Griddle with 6 Raclette Trays
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Nifty and practical in it's design, but not hot enough. Grilling requires copious patient minutes, and the underslung heating for Raclette will just take the cheese from room temperature to somewhat glazed consistency. To produce a little crust on the cheese either takes longer than 20 minutes, or will never happen. The light brown baked surface on the top of the cheese really brings out the flavor. I tried this oven with authentic imported Raclette and with America Monterey Jack. It will melt the cheese enough to get it to flow, but that's after considerable time. Hope you like your guests, because there'll be plenty of chatting while you wait.

Great for parties or everyday use, this versatile appliance offers a range of cooking options. Use its 100-square-inch, cast-aluminum cooking plate to grill fish, veggie kabobs, shrimp, mini sandwiches, and more, or flip it over to the flat griddle side to make pancakes, omelets, hash browns, and other breakfast-type foods. It can also be set up as a raclette maker to create a fun, intimate dining experience with friends. Cook food up top while melting favorite cheeses in the six raclette trays underneath. The time-honored Swiss tradition of raclette cooking, combined with the versatility of a tabletop grill and griddle, offers endless possibilities. Other highlights include a fully adjustable temperature probe, a nonstick cooking surface to ensure effortless food release, a built-in safety switch that turns off the heat if the plate becomes removed from its base, and a dishwasher-safe design (with the probe removed) for fast, easy cleaning. Weber 3741001 Genesis E-310 Propane Gas Grill, Black Review

Weber 3741001 Genesis E-310 Propane Gas Grill, Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
There's really nothing more that can be said to further the reputation of this series of grills. Those of us that own the Genesis E-310 series grill know how well this grill is manufactured, and just how very well it performs its duties. It is, by far, the very best gas grill in this price range I have ever owned or used. A couple of notes:
-The cross-over ignition system works wonderfully (it takes less than 3 seconds to fire up all three burners
-Those who say that their gas grill does not get hot enough to sear meats don't own this grill- I've had it up to 550 degrees on a very cold MN winter day
-That said, it seems to go through a good amount of propane when running all 3 burners on high...but that is probably obvious considering the temps you can obtain when running it on full. (It will be interesting to see if I can get 500 + degrees to sear meats on medium setting on a summer day....). The fuel gauge inside the cabinet is also a handy feature
-As always with this series of grills- No Flare ups, and the flavorizer bars do what Weber says they will, namely vaporize fats and juices into smoke that adds flavor to what you are grilling
-To keep this review balanced, there is one negative- I dislike the tool holders. Although there are plenty, your tools pretty much have to have one of those leather hanging loop things to keep the tools from falling off or even to use the holders (a small price to pay I guess)
Finally, the Genesis E-310 I purchased came in a copper color, something I haven't seen on Amazon, or on Weber's site for that matter. Maybe I missed it, or maybe I got lucky. Either way, it looks pretty darn sharp on our deck when it isn't covered.

No more annual overhauls, Weber's Genesis grill is built for high-performance grilling for years to come. The cooking system, rated at 42,000 Btu's, includes 3 seamless stainless steel burners. For easy starts, an electronic Crossover ignition system lights all three burners in succession with the push of a button. Weber's porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars eliminate grease-fueled flare-ups that often occur with standard lava rocks and ceramic briquettes. I bought this hot pot and When I received it the steamer was a little bent, But not badly. Steamer is flimsy not very heavy metal wouldn't take to much to bend it. Its nice at first glance But there are a couple of things. One is that its Got a Teflon Non Stick Pan(Huge Sticker That Says TEFLON) and I hate Teflon Because its very bad for your body if you ingest it, And it's made from very light plastic for the unit it self.It does seem to cook evenly And It comes with wooden paddle and warranty card and instructions. I usually Buy Zojirushi brand allot better quality and I love Japanese made cookware and appliances, they hold up allot better. I would recommend that anyone Buy another brand and Stay away Form Teflon. I would recommend buying Zojirushi Brand for Appliances and other small things, I have several of the Zojirushi and they are allot better made.

Weber 3851001 Genesis E-320 Natural Gas Grill, Black Review

Weber 3851001 Genesis E-320 Natural Gas Grill, Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased the Weber Genesis 320 (with Copper finish) and it is great. All of the Weber Genesis grills get excellent ratings of about 4.5 to 5 stars on various Web sites. If you like grilling then this is the grill for you. My old Coleman was pretty sturdy but the bottom area of the stand rusted out after several years (we grill all year long - even in on bad winter days), and it had very uneven heating.

If you look at the various comments about these Genesis grills you will see that except for a couple very isolated and unusual situations people love them. Almost every owner agrees that they get hotter, hot quicker, are easier to use, and get excellent results more often than almost any other grill.

The stainless surfaces help prevent rust and last longer, and the outer surfaces cleanup well. Greased lightning works well to clean the grates & inner surfaces, and a little WD-40 or silicon spray rubbed on, helps keep the outer stainless surfaces looking good.

You can never trust the various propane gauges that are on the market (I tried them). This grill has a nice feature in that the propane tank actually sits on a little scale! Since the weight is a reliable measure of the tanks fullness, this works well.

Do yourself a big favor and buy excellent cuts of meat for your grilling experiences with this grill. (Like 1" to 1.5" T-Bone or Porterhouse.) Because it gets so hot (our's went to 550 in no time), this grill really shines with thicker, better cuts. Also it is a good idea to use a seasoning or a barbecue sauce (We like "[...] Rub" and "Mississippi Sauce" or "Baby Ray Original" sauce.

I haven't had too much experience with them, but Weber appears to be a great company for customer service, and warranty work (25 year warranty for some parts). I'm told that the beer can chicken cooker (costs only $[...] - & made by a different company) works great with this cooker (but I haven't tried mine yet.) You can also get vegetable pans.

The thermometer is very helpful for good grilling, and if you get a $[...] roast holder, you can even cook beef and other roasts in this grill. I think the actual grilling area is perfectly sized - you can keep the higher warming rack in the grill at all times, if you wish, because it doesn't get in the way like with some other grills. The three burners allow you to cook directly, or indirectly like in an oven, by turning one off.

There are 2 little disadvantages that these grills have. This model has the 3 control knobs on the right top which prevents you from using that side to put a plate (the "S" series has them in the front). And it has a grease dripping pan that some reviewers say will catch on fire when you get the grill real hot; so clean it often.

I think that about covers everything! This grill is so easy to use, you're going to really enjoy it. Weber provides good cooking tips, a small cookbook, and has an on-line free service where, if you sign up, they will send you different recipes every so often. Save a few bucks by buying any Weber accessories you might want from your local Home Depot, Sears, True Value, or Lowes store, instead of directly from Weber. And - Wait for FREE shipping.

These aren't good enough to last a long time. What is disappointing is that most of the other products which are similar in price range probably are not going to meet expectations as well.
This is disappointing, since I consider these extremely valuable when trying to flip or remove large pieces of meat (like pork shoulder) on a smoker.
My issue is that the heat tolerance is very low. I cook no higher than 250 degrees on my smoker, and one of the fingers already looks a little melted from when I was handling the meat. I have only had mine for a month and a half or so. It also has orange stains everywhere (probably from the paprika I put on the meat)which will never come off. And it has some deep melt lines from when I tried to close the bottom vents near the charcoal (my mistake, I knew better). These aren't going to last me very long. They are inexpensive tho.
I read on a bbq forum that one guy uses cotton gloves covered by disposable food handling gloves. That may be the road I go down in the future when these are toast. There are also much more expensive insulated gloves ($30 range) on food service websites which are black in color and look pretty tough. You get what you pay for.
Not a recommended purchase.

Weber 3770001 Genesis S-310 LP Gas Grill, Stainless Steel Review

I grill almost everyday in summer and quite a bit even in the winter. So I tend to be a bit hard on my grills and I had never really spent much on my grills and I replace every 2-4 years. This time around though, I fell in love with some of the newer stainless steel grills out there and on some of them it appears that you get more than from Weber: more grilling space, or more BTUs, or just bigger. So I decided to go digging a bit.
I checked consumer reports and this Weber grill is rated the #1 grill out there for the following reasons:
a) very even heating
b) quick heating
c) very solid construction
d) low propensity for flareups
Consumer reports brought out some of the more glaring shortfalls to other grills that were not easily apparent then blinded by all that stainless steel at the local warehouse store. Armed with some consumer reports data I went back to the local stores that have these grills and I started to see what they were saying: plastic where Weber was aluminium, solid doors vs thin with empty backing, open cabinets where Weber has fully enclosed cabinet, cast steel casing where Weber's is Aluminium. Try as I might, I couldn't find the exact model I wanted so after much deliberation I bought the Webber Genesis S-310 from Amazon. I always order from Amazon but I was a bit hesitant to order due to a review of someone getting a dented grill. But since I really wanted the S-310 and I trust Amazon, I went ahead and ordered and everything arrived perfect (Thank you Amazon and Eagle - whoever you are).
The Bad:
1) It arrived in a box factory disassembled into a bunch of parts
The Good:
1) It was very well packaged in the box (additionally, most stainless parts had a plastic film to keep from scratching)
2) It shipped and arrived very quickly (within 3 days of ordering - standard shipping)
3) No dings or scratches on the grill or even on the box (Eagle did a great job on this one)
4) The fact that the grill was disassembled - which allowed me to get to know the grill as I assembled it and raelly appreciate the construction
5) Instructions were clear
6) I have to say that in putting this grill together took about one hour of work and it really had me appreciate the strength of Weber's construction on this product. Its frankly amazing how well constructed this grill is.
7) Construction of this grill is made of stainless steel and cast aluminium with plastic only in the wheels (which are very tough), hose, knobs and a couple of small fittings.
8) The undercarriage is enclosed on all four sides with gorgeous stainless doors which are thick and fully whose back is also stainless.
9)Many details were taken into account, there are adjustments so that the knobs are fully centered.
10) There's a chain to hold a lighting match and the lighting hole is neatly placed on the front right corner of the grill although the grill has electronic ignition.
11) The temperature guage was placed in the front center of the grill and is large and easy to see.
12) The knobs are located on top of the grill which is fantastic if you have small children. It makes it much harder for children to reach the knobs and turn them
13) It doesn't come with a tank (I have 3 so that wasn't a problem)
14) Comes with a drip pan
15) It doesn't have brickettes but comes with very highly angled triangular baffles to cover the burners...the angle of the baffles lessens the likelihood of flareups because grease falls down before it catches on fire
16) Very good warranty on all materials and workmanship
17) It has a tank measure so you know when you're low on propane
18) This grill gets hot. I turned it on high and turned around for a few minutes and it was up to 650 degrees and the flavorizer bars were glowing bright red hot....wow -- never had a grill do that before!
19) Very even heating. The burners run left to right on this grill vs front to back. Always in the past, I've had a problem with the back of my grill being hotter than the front. With this grill the heating is more even. There are pros and cons of left to right arrangement of burners vs front to back and probably beyond this review just be aware potential buyer --- left to right works very well for me and I find I can do indirect cooking nicely too.
Grilling with this product is fantastic. This is the best grill I have ever owned and I'm glad I own a Weber Genesis S-310. You might find cheaper grills or bigger grills for the same money or higher BTUs but overall, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a "better grill" out there.
I was apprehensive at ordering such a large product from Amazon but amazed at how fast I got it and the store perfect condition it arrived in. One very happy Weber Owner and Amazon shopper.

No more annual overhauls, Weber's Genesis grill is built for high-performance grilling for years to come. The Genesis S-310 gas grill features an enclosed cart with stainless steel doors and handles for easy, scratch-free cleaning. A stainless steel shroud with a center-mounted thermometer is bordered with shiny, cast-aluminum end caps.
Fats and juices are vaporized when they hit the angled bars and quickly sizzle away, adding delicious, smoky barbecue flavor rather than cauterizing flames.
Sturdy cooking grates feature 7-millimeter stainless steel rods. The primary cooking area measures 507 square inches. And, the unit's handy warming rack measures 130 square inches for a total cooking area of 637 square inches. Other features include 6 tool holders, a precision fuel gauge, 2 stainless steel work surfaces, 2 heavy-duty front locking casters and 2 heavy-duty back swivel casters. The purchase includes a cookbook and 10-foot flexible hose, and is covered by a limited manufacturer warranty.
