(More customer reviews)The plates work fine. My only beef if their size. If you grill up a 12 oz steak, that is the only thing that will fit on the plate. If I could do it over again, I would have bought bigger ones. Oh well. The wooden base works well with the plate. One other thing, and it is probably obvious. If you eat your steak from this plate, the knife will scratch the black off the plate fairly quickly.
