(More customer reviews)The gloves did insulate from heat as advertised. I love the fact that I can pick up large items like turkeys and pork shoulders without burning my hands. On the down side, the gloves are hard to get on and off. This is especially a problem when you get grease on them as the surface of the glove gets very slick so you will need to wash them off first or get some assistance.
