Most everyone loves a grilled hot dog - or bratwurst or sausage - but chefs working the grill aren't always so enthusiastic about cooking them. Getting every side evenly grilled requires individual picking up and turning - or prodding with a fork and chancing the food rolling right off the grill. It's a tedious operation, particularly if grilling for a crowd. This roller eliminates the tedium, not to mention burned sides or undercooking. The 100-percent stainless steel roller sits directly atop the grill and accommodates five sausages or hot dogs at a time. To use, simply hook the handle's curved end into one side of the roller and give it a nudge, thus rolling its contents simultaneously. Repeat until each side is evenly cooked. The handle's other end serves double-duty as both a bottle opener and a hanging hook. To clean, wash and dry by hand. The roller measures 9.5 by 7 inches; the handle measures 12 by 2.9 inches.
